The Lottery Library
Welcome to the Library!
Here's where you can find the comprehensive list of Stuff People Donated. Each year our sponsors get more and more generous, and now Pat just can't fit all that awesome into his blog. But we have it all here for you to peruse at your leisure!
Everything you see here is on the table. For each $10 donation you give through our Team Heifer page, your name gets entered into the lottery. Donate $50, you have 5 chances of winning. Donate $1,000 and your name is in the hat 100 times. We have had folks who donated $20 walk away with highly sought-after, signed, limited edition books. Fortune favors the...something. Bold? Fortunate?
Click on any cover or photo to see the information page on the item--you'll find out what it is, who donated it and why it's awesome. If it's an auction, you'll find it on our eBay Seller's Page. But please keep in mind--only the latest update is still available. Our auctions start Thursdays at 7pm CST (that's 5pm eBay time) and run for 10 days, ending the following Sunday evening. So check our Seller's Page often, and bid on the items you want right away--once they're gone, that's it.
We got so many books from DAW this year that, even though we already had a blog full of books from them, we've got another one just as full here.
This collection of books is mostly comprised of sets of books in a series. Many of them are the complete series, while some are good starter sets.
Donations keep coming in, and this year, some of our favorite authors have stepped up beyond words. This is the second group of author-donated books, and the way things are looking, we might have to add a third entry just to keep up.
This group contains some interesting stuff, from a leather bound TPB of D.T. Conklin's Eulogy to a manuscript printed, bound, and signed by Michelle Sagara for a book that's not coming out until July. Thank you to all the authors who donate their work--you guys really raise the already massive excitement level around here.
We get a lot of donations from a lot of people. Authors, publishers, and bookstores are always wonderful to us, but some people who don’t get as much glory are the readers. Folks who have been following Worldbuilders for a while, and find cool, signed, or interesting books that they think would work well for our fundraiser. Every year we get more books from more supporters, and we’re more than happy to feature them.
